The world is TOO noisy for sanity. It’s so tempting to reach for your phone or waken Alexa. You might even be reading this on your phone. Try starting your day making your coffee or tea in silence. If you have avoided meditation in the past because you perceive it’s too hard or takes too long, this is a great way to meditate. Notice the sound of the water filling the pot, watch your hands as they prepare the grounds. Listen to the sounds the pot makes as the water heats up. Notice the smell of the coffee and the gorgeous, luscious silence supporting your experience of stillness.
There is enough time in the day for you to have this moment of quiet with your morning beverage.
